School
Fund
In common
with most schools, Nonsuch encourages all parents to contribute
to the School Fund. The Fund, which is controlled by the Governing
Body, has one guiding principle which is that the proceeds
must be for used for purchases or projects that benefit all
Nonsuch girls.
The Fund
is arranged in two accounts; the first is used for the collection
of donations and the second is the general account which is
used for the day to day support of the school's many clubs
and societies.
Contributions
to the Fund are voluntary and parents are encouraged to make
donations using the Gift Aid scheme. This enables the school
to recover basic rate income tax from Inland Revenue and greatly
enhances the value of contributions; a donation of £100
is worth almost £130 to the school through Gift Aid.
The majority of parents contribute by Standing Order on a
monthly, quarterly or annual basis, which greatly assists
the administration of the Fund.
