Minutes of meetings
The
governing body of Nonsuch High School for Girls normally meets
every half-term. The governing body has five standing
committees:
Curriculum
Committee - responsible
for ensuring that the school meets the statutory requirements
of the National Curriculum and monitors the performance of
individual departments. It is responsible for setting
and recommending the school's annual examination targets to
the governing body. The committee normally meets 4 times
each year.
Admissions
Committee - responsible
for the admission arrangements for entry into all years at
the school. The committee normally meets twice each
year.
Finance
Committee - responsible
for recommending the annual budget to the governing body and
monitoring the monthly financial reports. The committee normally
meets 6 times each year.
Personnel
Committee - responsible
for all staffing issues and ensuring that the governing body
meets its obligations as a responsible employer within current
employment legislation. The committee normally meets
4 times each year.
Premises
Committee - responsible
for all matters relating to the buildings and grounds and
for recommending repairs, improvements and capital developments
to the governing body. The committee normally meets 5 times
each year.
All
meetings are conducted under a formal agenda and minutes of
the meetings are prepared and circulated to members by the
clerk to the governors.
