House News

The final term has been jam-packed with House events; mainly the Interhouse sports which take place in PE lessons. Summer Interhouse sports involve rounders, tennis, and swimming, Neptune are champions of both tennis and rounders, a fantastic achievement! and the overall swimming champions are Mars who came first in years 7, 8 and 10!

SPORTS DAY!
As reported earlier this was another fantastic house event and the result shows how hard fought Interhouse sport is here at Nonsuch, which, as a PE teacher, I am delighted about!
In our vegetarian cooking contest, Jumana Ahmad in 8N won the top prize for her vegetable bahjee.

Finally, the inaugural N.I.M Awards (Nonsuch Interhouse Music) were held on Monday 18 July. The House officials worked very hard to organise the act to represent their House. We had acts from years 7-9 across a variety of genres. 8 Pluto (pictured) came in third place. 7 Mercury came in second for an act involving 2 songs, 12 girls, bongos and xylophones!

The winning act was Saturn with a well arranged performance of Jessie J's 'Price Tag'. Congratulations to Natalia and Laura (9S) and Emma, Sydnie and Sophie (8S) . they have been awarded 30 credits.
