Farewell and thanks ……..
The Governing Body has said farewell to two governors and welcomed two
members since the last AGM.
Mr Michael Carville, Teacher Governor, resigned in July. We wish Michael
every success in his new school and thank him for his support of the Governing
Body. Michael had a key role in preparing the application for Specialist
Status and his hard work was rewarded when the school was granted Science
Specialist Status in July.
Mrs Helen Edwards, Parent Governor, resigned in July. Helen’s experience
of several schools and as a Nonsuch parent brought breadth and depth to
the discussions in committee meetings and we will miss her contribution
to the Governing Body. We thank her for her support of Nonsuch.
Mr Chris Goostrey and Mr Amin Somji joined the Governing Body as Partnership
Governors. We are pleased to welcome members of the community to the Governing
Body and the school will benefit from the experience they bring to planning
for the future development of Nonsuch.
