Nonsuch Old Girls' Association was established in the late 1940's, has
approximately 400 members representing all the years since the school
was established and living across the world.
Building on the excellent work of the existing Committee, the Association
has recently been re-launched as the Nonsuch Alumni and introduced a lifetime
e-membership. We hope that this will help to broaden its reach to the
younger generation of students. This in turn will help us in the development
of community and business contacts and key events in the future.
Meetings of the Association are usually held three times a year, with
additional events organised to celebrate milestones in the history of
the school, such as the 60th anniversary in 1998, and a party in April
2005 to celebrate the 80th birthday of Miss Matthews, the schools second
headmistress.
On 2 October 2010, the Alumni held a reunion party for leavers from 2004/5.
Further details and photos are now available. This will be an annual event
from now on and we look forward to welcoming leavers from 2001 and 2006
in October 2011. We are currently seeking former students from these year
groups who may be interested in helping us with the preparation of next
year's event. If this is of interest, please contact us at alumni@nonsuch.sutton.sch.uk.
