To
join the AS Biology course students must have at least a grade
B in GCSE Biology or B in GCSE Additional Science.
Classes are taught by our experienced staff and we make full
use of our woodland, pond and meadow ecology areas.
Field
work is an important aspect of Biology in the sixth form and
students will be offered the opportunity of studying Biology
through visits to field work centres.
Sixth Form students run our conservation
club for Year 7 and 8 students.
Our Biology course is with the OCR Examination Board and is
a very popular choice at AS and A2 level.
The
Sixth Form Rag week raised over £10,000 for the Lisa Thaxter Trust.
The Spring Concert was held on 19th March
