So much happens at Nonsuch within the Mathematics Department that we decided to include a page containing all the latest events, competitions and results that occur throughout the year of 2005.

Puzzle Club is open to all ages every Wednesday from 1pm till 1:40pm. Girls can come along and have a go at various puzzles and games. Housepoints are often given out as prizes for achievement.   There is a KS4 help group on Tuesday lunchtimes from 12:45 - 1:15pm

During this year, the lower school have been involved with a mathematics house competition, known as the Numberthon.. The competition takes place over a period of 5 weeks and each test involves 20 mental mathematics questions - to keep the girls on their toes!!!!!! The year's winners were Year 7 Mars with Pluto coming in a close second, Year 8 Mars followed by Neptune, and Year 9 Pluto followed by Mercury. 

Well done to all the students who took part.

Now we are nearing Christmas, the Year 11's are completing their final piece of G.C.S.E coursework and have their mocks in December. Good luck to them
