Year 7 Teambuilding

Year 7 Survive the Day…
21 September marked the arrival of Year 7 onto “Nonsuch Island” for the day – they were off timetable and cast into a world of castaways, food rationing, the need to map their location and ultimately build shelters in order to survive.

In true Nonsuch style, they happily mixed in different teams for the day and focused on their communication and thinking skills.

Happily, weather on “the island” was glorious and Dr Dixon could be seen leading a Yoga session by 11.00am on the main field. Meanwhile Miss Ford was amassing cardboard boxes at a rapid rate and her form could be seen building fabulous shelters by lunchtime, happily, all of Year 7 were rescued and returned to the wider world where they promptly designed and created a board game about their experiences in order to make a small fortune – entrepreneurs one and all! All this by 3.20pm....
